Founders’ Day, the anniversary of the formation of National PTA in 1897, is a reminder of the substantial role that PTA has played locally, regionally, and nationally in supporting parent involvement and working on behalf of all children and families.
The North East Council of PTAs hosts an annual Founders’ Day celebration each year to celebrate the accomplishments of our schools and PTAs. All Texas Honorary Life Members, National Lifetime Achievement and Extended Service recipients from across the district are recognized at this event.
