Volunteering to be a Homeroom Parent
On behalf of the PTA, thank you for volunteering to be the Homeroom Parent Volunteer for the school year. All of the children at Redland benefit greatly from family participation, and we hope you will find the efforts of your contributions equally as rewarding. The information on this page will serve as your guidebook to being a Homeroom Parent Volunteer for Redland Elementary School, providing suggestions and important information needed to have a smooth and successful school year.
Should you need clarification, assistance, or support, please know you can contact Nicole Hinojosa. In your homeroom parent folder, you will find the classroom volunteer sheets completed at the beginning of the school year. They are yours to keep and should be retained for reference throughout your assignment. If you feel you will need additional help, you may select a Homeroom Parent Assistant from those who expressed an interest in homeroom parenting on the returned sheets. Should you wish to enlist the help of an assistant, it is strongly recommended you contact this person as soon as possible to prevent conflicting engagements in the future.
